Job Description 

The Senior Virtualization Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting EXENET's storage and virtualization practice, assigning and coordinating engineering resources and supporting Sales teams in a pre/post support capacity. The Senior Virtualization Engineer has expert knowledge of hardware/software and products/platforms used to deliver and maintain IT storage and virtualization solutions that meet business needs.

Technical Skills/Certifications

• Expert knowledge of EMC hardware & software
• Hands on experience with designing, configuring and implementing Storage Area Networks
• Hands on experience with designing, configuring and implementing Virtual Server environments
• Hands on expertise with designing and implementing disaster recovery/business continuity environments

Competencies

• Excellent Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure; good in crisis management
• Ability to work and follow on projects that may take place outside standard hours
• Ability to manage schedules, utilization and realization calculations; juggle priorities and coordinate multiple projects and resources
• Minimum Four Years consulting and IT service

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field required.
