WORKSHOP
- EXENET Helps Leading Law Firms Enhance the Quality of Client Services
Through “Lawyer Ubiquity” Solutions
Thacher
Proffitt & Wood to host on-site workshop and provide hands-on
demonstration of enhanced network architecture at LawNet's June
23, 2004 Workshop in New York City
New York, NY — May
25, 2004 — EXENET LLC, the leading New York City-based
IT infrastructure optimization and assurance services firm, today
announced plans to showcase their novel combination of wireless
systems, enhanced security and robust network infrastructure to
address the business needs of today's mobile attorneys. The
session will hosted at Thacher, Proffitt & Wood's headquarters
at Two World Financial Center in New York City starting at 8:30
AM on June 23, 2004.
“With the wider acceptance
of wireless and mobility solutions, forward thinking law firms are
rightly concerned about secure access of information for their attorneys
no matter where they are,” commented Arup Das, chief technology
officer at EXENET. “Through enhanced, yet secure, information
and application access - attorneys can deliver a higher level of
client service that differentiates them from non-technology enabled
firms – a key competitive benefit for the leading firms.”
This productive, hands-on
session will outline an IT approach that is business issue focused
- supported by current technologies in the areas of wireless networking,
VPN, remote connectivity and redundant systems. Participants
will be provided with a case example of the Thacher, Proffitt &
Wood system deployment, an overview of the technologies deployed
and architectural recommendations for organizations considering
future lawyer mobility initiatives.
Participants will be provided
with an opportunity to have a first-hand experience on the wireless
network, so are invited to bring a wireless enabled PDA, notebook
or tablet PC. Continental breakfast will be served as part
of the conference.
