During the move process, the client was able to stay involved in the overall move
planning, but delegated the details to the move team. The move team was very experienced
with moves of similar sized firms and avoided several cutover pitfalls based upon
this experience. With limited staff, the client was able to continue focusing on
core business issues, versus being distracted by mundane move details that added
little business value.
The move proceeded on plan and on budget without any unscheduled down time. In addition,
EXENET was able to optimize the existing infrastructure to determine which components
still had useful life and which need upgrade, resulting in overall savings in move
costs.
